Working with Focus Bikes and Grit CX Magazine we set out to document Dean Hersey and Kev Turner putting the brand new Focus Atlas gravel bike through its paces on a 100 mile bike packing epic from the coastal town of Poole heading north to Cheltenham.
Our brief was to deliver a photo essay to be used in conjunction with the article featuring landscape, camp and detail shots of the bikes "in action" as well as a feature film documenting the expedition. Splitting our two-man team between photography and film responsibilities, we were able to document the entire route and deliver the required assets whilst adhering to the government guideline imposed at the time during the pandemic.
